Danny Curtis vs Bart Roby

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Jordan Tear Gym, Louisville,  taking place on 02/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Curtis (14 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Louisville, USA and Bart Roby(14 - 4 - 1) from Louisville, USA.  Curtis weighed in at 114 pounds and 6 ounces, while Roby weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Coppin, and the three ringside judges are Dave Stark, Dave Stark and Matthew Hatt.  

Round 1: 

Roby hits home with a solid left hook.  
Curtis steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.

Curtis steps to the outside.  Roby throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Curtis connects with a cross.  Curtis throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Roby time to recover.
