Francisco Carpio vs Ovidio Vasconcelos

Boxing Daily Report from the Chilembe Promotions promoted show at Havana Orbe, Havana,  taking place on 22/02/2027:

Clearly Chilembe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francisco Carpio (3 - 5 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Ovidio Vasconcelos(5 - 11(1) - 5) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Carpio and Vasconcelos weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cipriano Gomez, and the three ringside judges are Agapetus Triana, Beltran Diaz and Santiago Valenciano.
