Satoru Kudo vs Akira Kawamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Teva Ocean Arena, Nagoya,  taking place on 02/08/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Satoru Kudo (16(9) - 0) who hails from Takatsuki, Japan and Akira Kawamoto(9 - 2 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Kudo weighed in at 121 pounds and 9 ounces, while Kawamoto weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hideki Kawasaki, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Tanaka, Raiden Shimamoto and Daiki Onishi.  

Round 1: 

Kudo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kudo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  
Kawamoto pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kudo lands with a ramrod jab.  
Kudo is looking to keep his distance and lands a hard jab.  
Kudo lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a jab to the head.  
Kudo steps to the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Kudo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kawamoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kudo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kudo lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kudo steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kudo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Kawamoto throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kudo steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kawamoto quickly recovers. 
Kudo lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Kawamoto forces Kudo to back into the ropes.  Kudo lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Kawamoto tries to keep the action at long range.  Kudo hits home with a cross.  
Kawamoto attempts to land a cross, but Kudo parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Kudo tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  Kudo throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kudo steps to the outside and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Kawamoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kudo lands with a solid jab.  
Kudo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Kawamoto forces Kudo to retreat onto the ropes.  Kudo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kawamoto's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Round 2: 

Kudo drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Kudo steps to the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Kudo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Kudo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Kudo switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Kawamoto gets on the inside.  Kudo digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  Kudo clinches his opponent.  Kudo leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kudo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kawamoto's kidney. 
Kudo throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Kudo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kudo pushes his forearm into Kawamoto's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kudo to stop fouling.  
Kudo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kudo feints a jab, and then lands a spiteful cross.  KAWAMOTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kawamoto almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kudo steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kudo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Kudo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Kudo lands a cross, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING KAWAMOTO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Kawamoto now seems to have got his legs back.  
Kudo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kudo lands an overhand left, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES KAWAMOTO!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Kudo!
