Fumio Tanaka vs Nao Okubo

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Japan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fumio Tanaka (19(1) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Nao Okubo(13 - 7(1) - 1(NC)) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Tanaka and Okubo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fumio Nakazawa, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Enomoto, Kaede Toyama and Goro Oyama.
