Onofre Paiva vs Vicente Alvernaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio de Janeiro promoted show at Rio de Janeiro Salas, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 15/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio de Janeiro Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Onofre Paiva (16 - 5 - 4) who hails from Duque de Cazias, Brazil and Vicente Alvernaz(15 - 7 - 3) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Paiva weighed in at 159 pounds And 3 ounces, while Alvernaz weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marco Ponciano, and the three ringside judges are Esteban Pena, Tajo Cotta and Carlos Corte.
