Brin Ngamu vs Sammy Hohepa

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at North Shore Mayne, North Shore,  taking place on 17/08/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Ngamu (8 - 7 - 1) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Sammy Hohepa(9(1) - 1) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Ngamu weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces, while Hohepa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Smillie, and the three ringside judges are Mark Vaux, Ian Skene and Kenzie Anderson.  

Round 1: 

Hohepa advances into close range.  Ngamu attempts to land a right hook, but Hohepa slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
