Daichi Niwa vs Yoshi Hashimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Kurumeza Theatre, Kurume,  taking place on 21/03/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Tokyo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Niwa (15 - 9 - 4) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Yoshi Hashimoto(11 - 8(1) - 6) from Tokyo, Japan.  Niwa weighed in at 244 pounds, while Hashimoto weighed in at 240 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Kinoshita, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Ueda, Keiichi Yamamura and Raiden Matsui.  

Round 1: 

Hashimoto tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hashimoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Niwa lands a cross.

Niwa gets on the inside.  Niwa lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hashimoto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hashimoto tries to keep the action at long range.  Niwa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Niwa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Niwa tries to land a right hook, but Hashimoto dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Niwa is on target with a left hook.  
Niwa closes the distance.  Hashimoto tries to land a right hook, but Niwa blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Hashimoto's body.
