Angel Canada vs Rafael Gomez

Boxing Daily Report from the Eduardo Zambrano promoted show at Maracay Siman, Maracay,  taking place on 02/01/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Aragua Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Canada (18(7) - 0) who hails from Turmero, Venezuela and Rafael Gomez(7 - 14 - 3) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Both Canada and Gomez weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Callejas, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Fiel, Nicandro Prado and Carlos Juliana.

Canada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.

Gomez could be stopped here, if Canada can find the right shot!  Canada hits home with a telling left hook.  GOMEZ IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Gomez now seems to have got his legs back.
