Cisco Lechuga vs Hugh Norman

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Bo Campbell Auditorium, Baton Rouge,  taking place on 17/04/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cisco Lechuga (10(4) - 0) who hails from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic and Hugh Norman(8 - 8 - 5) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Lechuga and Norman weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Gilchrist, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Setton, Alen Pritchard and Ricky Glasco.  

Round 1: 

Lechuga lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Norman steps inside.  Lechuga pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.

Norman gets on the inside.  Lechuga lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lechuga is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lechuga feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Lechuga steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Norman steps inside.  Lechuga lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Lechuga tries to keep the action at long range and drives a jab into his opponents body.  Lechuga tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Norman advances into close range.  Lechuga lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  Lechuga ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lechuga pushes his forearm into Norman's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lechuga about fouling.  
Norman walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Norman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lechuga lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Norman closes the distance.  Lechuga attempts to land a right uppercut, but Norman dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Lechuga's liver.

Norman steps inside.  Lechuga throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Lechuga holds on to his opponent.  Lechuga leans on his opponent using all his weight. Lechuga tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Norman behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lechuga.  
Norman tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Lechuga stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Norman connects with a cross.  
Lechuga is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Lechuga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Lechuga lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand right to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Norman quickly recovers.

Lechuga feints a jab, and then is on target with a spiteful cross.  NORMAN IS HURT!  Norman almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lechuga lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Norman quickly recovers. 
Lechuga feints a cross, and then lands a ramrod jab.  
Lechuga lands with a hard jab.

Norman gets on the inside.  Lechuga lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS NORMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Lechuga is looking to keep his distance.  Some sustained pressure from Lechuga could be enough to finish Norman!  Lechuga lands a cross followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS NORMAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Norman cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Lechuga!
