Roman Mate vs Jax Velarde

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwase Promotions promoted show at Maipu Napoles, Maipu,  taking place on 12/11/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roman Mate (8(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Jax Velarde(14 - 14 - 1) from Las Condes, Chile.  Both Mate and Velarde weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Lebron, and the three ringside judges are Jax Salina, Alejandro Cossio and Alejandro Aguiniga.  

Round 1: 

Velarde quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mate hits home with a solid right uppercut.
