Javier Diaz vs Gervasio Montoya

Boxing Daily Report from the Bani Promotions promoted show at Barranquilla Cepero, Barranquilla,  taking place on 19/11/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Javier Diaz (13 - 12 - 4) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Gervasio Montoya(5 - 1) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Diaz weighed in at 117 pounds and 5 ounces, while Montoya weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reyes Puma, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Sarmiento, Salvador Sanches and Cipriano Astorga.  

Round 1: 

Montoya gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  Montoya attempts to land a left hook, but Diaz blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
