Jax Velarde vs Juan Mirelez

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwase Promotions promoted show at Santiago Hernandes, Santiago,  taking place on 21/12/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Velarde (15 - 16 - 1) who hails from Las Condes, Chile and Juan Mirelez(16 - 15(5) - 2) from Maipu, Chile.  Both Velarde and Mirelez weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Lebron, and the three ringside judges are Ovidio Barco, Paco Amaro and Ulises Cerna.  

Round 1: 

Mirelez walks Velarde down, trapping him in a corner.  Velarde hits home with a left hook.  
Velarde is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.
