Vahid Salam vs Ioakim Aghakhanov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Tajikistan-Dushanbe promoted show at Dushanbe Yassin, Dushanbe,  taking place on 19/07/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Tajikistan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Varzish TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vahid Salam (6 - 1 - 2) who hails from Kulob, Tajikistan and Ioakim Aghakhanov(6 - 2 - 1) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Salam weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Aghakhanov weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valeri Kagramanov, and the three ringside judges are Munavvar Akperov, Boris Abildaev and Ilham Azizov.
