Cris Sarangaya vs Ethan Saupan

Boxing Daily Report from the Dauda Promotions promoted show at Calamba Taay, Calamba,  taking place on 03/09/2035:

Clearly Dauda Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Sarangaya (6(4) - 0) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Ethan Saupan(1 - 0) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Both Sarangaya and Saupan weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xeres Batuyong, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Murillo, Cuba Villescas and Cruz Borbon.  

Round 1: 

Sarangaya gets on the inside.  Sarangaya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Saupan's ribs.

Sarangaya lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sarangaya tries to keep the action at long range.  Saupan tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Saupan attempts to land a cross, but Sarangaya slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Saupan steps inside and manages to force Sarangaya onto the ropes.  Sarangaya lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Sarangaya holds on to his opponent.  Sarangaya uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Saupan's kidney.
