Montego Matalam vs John Blas

Boxing Daily Report from the Dauda Promotions promoted show at San Pedro Vega, San Pedro,  taking place on 01/10/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montego Matalam (9 - 5 - 3) who hails from San Pedro, Philippines and John Blas(7 - 4(1) - 4) from Cabuyao, Philippines.  Matalam weighed in at 130 pounds, while Blas weighed in at 129 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cuba Villescas, and the three ringside judges are Cruz Borbon, Alfonso Baybay and Miguel Nieto.  

Round 1: 

Blas forces Matalam to retreat into a corner.  Blas digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.
