Hugh McNiff vs Mike McMahon

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Stub Hub Center (Tennis), Los Angeles,  taking place on 20/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hugh McNiff (4(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Mike McMahon(10(1) - 0) from Grand Rapids, USA.  McNiff weighed in at 226 pounds and 4 ounces, while McMahon weighed in at 239 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Prophet, and the three ringside judges are Paul Snedden, Dale Slaight and Sam Hasson.

McNiff switches the action to the outside.  McNiff is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  McNiff lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MCMAHON!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
McNiff lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MCMAHON TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  McMahon now seems to have got his legs back.  
McMahon advances into close range.  McNiff drives a sharp right hook into McMahon's body.

That has caused a minor cut in the corner of the right eye.  .

McMahon connects with a cross.  McMahon tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a WICKED cross.  MCMAHON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is McNiff!
