Carlos Velazco vs Francisco Allende

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Gabelo Conejo, San Jose,  taking place on 13/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Costa Rica Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Velazco (10(7) - 1(1)) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Francisco Allende(8(2) - 0) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Velazco weighed in at 236 pounds and 6 ounces, while Allende weighed in at 238 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cezar Gall, and the three ringside judges are Kiki Briones, Ramirez Villalta and Selestino Guillen.  

Round 1: 

Velazco steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.
