Santiago Matute vs Montenegro Carranco

Boxing Daily Report from the Vilakazi Promotions promoted show at Las Condes Marquina, Las Condes,  taking place on 21/10/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Matute (21(7) - 4 - 1) who hails from San Bernardo, Chile and Montenegro Carranco(10 - 15(5) - 5) from Santiago, Chile.  Matute weighed in at 134 pounds And 15 ounces, while Carranco weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Vigorito, and the three ringside judges are Diego Vidales, Fresco Collazo and Diego Vidales.  

Round 1: 

Matute hits home with a stinging left hook.

Matute sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Matute pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Carranco hits home with a cross.  
Matute gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Matute lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Matute pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Carranco wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Matute has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
