Boswell Castile vs Gerald Mekongo

Boxing Daily Report from the Simanansa Promotions promoted show at Bamenda Nguiffo, Bamenda,  taking place on 25/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord-Oueste Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Boswell Castile (12 - 10(3) - 4) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Gerald Mekongo(34(16) - 6(1) - 1) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Castile and Mekongo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alexandre Ekwe, and the three ringside judges are Cade Piat, Coyne Ngapeth and Lance Dumas.  

Round 1: 

Mekongo closes the distance.  Mekongo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mekongo manages to force Castile onto the ropes.  Mekongo digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Mekongo ties up his opponent.  Castile hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Castile and breaks the clinch.  
Mekongo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mekongo tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mekongo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mekongo ties up his opponent.  Mekongo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Castile behind the head. The ref breaks Mekongo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mekongo closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Castile almost instantly recovers. 
Mekongo drives a firm right hook into Castile's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Castile dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mekongo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Castile quickly recovers. 
Mekongo steps inside.  Mekongo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mekongo is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a solid overhand right.  
Castile advances into close range.  Mekongo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mekongo digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mekongo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Castile is on target with a jab.  
Mekongo closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Castile throws a right hook, but Mekongo clinches his opponent.  Mekongo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mekongo to stop fouling.  
Mekongo digs in a right hook to Castile's ribcage.  
Mekongo steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Castile throws a right hook, but Mekongo ties up his opponent.  Mekongo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Castile behind the head. The ref breaks Mekongo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Castile's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Castile's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Castile's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
