Jay Shone vs Rob Alcorn

Boxing Daily Report from the Ras Marcus promoted show at Kingston More, Kingston,  taking place on 26/11/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Shone (22(2) - 10(1)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Rob Alcorn(7 - 3 - 3) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Shone weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces, while Alcorn weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Smiley, and the three ringside judges are Neil Harp, Oliver Hedley and Rob Nivison.  

Round 1: 

Shone lands a jab.  
Shone drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Shone is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Shone attempts to land a left hook, but Alcorn parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Shone drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Shone feints a left, and then lands a stiff jab.  
Shone is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to Alcorn's ribs.  Shone holds on to his opponent.  Shone is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shone about fouling.  
Shone is on target with a left hook.  Shone ties up his opponent.  Shone pushes his forearm into Alcorn's face.  The referee warns Shone and breaks the clinch.  Shone tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Alcorn pivots from in front of his opponent.  Shone digs in a left hook to Alcorn's ribs.  
Shone forces Alcorn to retreat into the corner.  Shone lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Shone lands a right hook.

Alcorn pivots to the side of his opponent.  Alcorn throws a left hook, but Shone holds on to his opponent.  Shone hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Shone to stop fouling.

Shone feints a cross, and then hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Shone gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alcorn's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Alcorn's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Shone steps inside.  Shone hits home with a left hook.  Shone wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alcorn dabs at his face checking for damage.
