Diego Navarrete vs Kei Onishi

Boxing Daily Report from the Jely Pr. promoted show at International House Osaka, Osaka,  taking place on 30/11/2035:

Clearly Jely Pr. have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Navarrete (17(12) - 0) who hails from Mixco, Guatemala and Kei Onishi(1 - 2) from Fuji, Japan.  Navarrete weighed in at 108 pounds, while Onishi weighed in at 107 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Sakata, and the three ringside judges are Mitsuru Kanai, Satoru Muraoka and Kyo Kuramoto.  

Round 1: 

Navarrete lands a jab to his opponents body.

Onishi closes the distance and walks Navarrete down, trapping him on the ropes.  Navarrete is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Navarrete stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Onishi throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Navarrete is looking to keep his distance and lands a spiteful jab.  
Onishi gets on the inside.  Navarrete lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Navarrete clinches his opponent.  Navarrete is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Navarrete and breaks the clinch.  
Onishi walks Navarrete down, trapping him on the ropes.  Navarrete lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Navarrete steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Navarrete lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Onishi tries to land a jab, but Navarrete sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook to Onishi's body.  ONISHI IS HURT!  Onishi quickly recovers. 
Onishi steps inside and forces Navarrete to back into the ropes.  Navarrete throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Navarrete clinches his opponent.  Navarrete uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Onishi behind the head. The referee warns Navarrete and breaks the clinch.  
Onishi feints a left, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Navarrete lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Onishi advances into close range.  Navarrete knows Onishi is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Navarrete is on target with a HUGE cross.  ONISHI IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Onishi now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Onishi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Navarrete is on target with a potent left hook to his opponents body.  ONISHI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.

Navarrete steps away from his opponent and EXPLODES a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE ONISHI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Onishi recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Navarrete snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Onishi feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.  
Navarrete steps away from his opponent.  Navarrete feints a left, and then lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Onishi attempts to land a jab, but Navarrete slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Onishi gets on the inside and forces Navarrete to retreat onto the ropes.  Navarrete lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS ONISHI TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Navarrete sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Navarrete lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, KNOCKING ONISHI DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Navarrete!
