Darryl Mordecai vs Leon Gills

Boxing Daily Report from the Awere Promotions promoted show at Louisville Bruce, Louisville,  taking place on 04/12/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Mordecai (14 - 5) who hails from Birmingham, USA and Leon Gills(28(6) - 4(2)) from Louisville, USA.  Mordecai weighed in at 111 pounds And 12 ounces, while Gills weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Days, and the three ringside judges are John Erskin, Mark Slone and Dave Stark.  

Round 1: 

Mordecai steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
