Joey Saam vs Desiderio Bolanos

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 27/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Big Bam Saam (49(44) - 1) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Desiderio Bolanos(25(8) - 17(6) - 1) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Both Saam and Bolanos weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alec Deans, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Kinnon, Chris Morgan and Shaun Kelsoe.  

Round 1:

Bolanos forces Saam to retreat onto the ropes.  Saam connects with a cross.  
Saam is on target with a jab.  
Saam tries to keep the action at long range and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Saam lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bolanos is on target with a right uppercut to Saam's body.  
Saam is looking to keep his distance and SLAMS a FEARSOME cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BOLANOS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Bolanos quickly recovers.

Bolanos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Saam is on target with a solid cross.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bolanos's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bolanos's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Bolanos's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Saam steps away from his opponent.  Bolanos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Saam lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bolanos throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Saam is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Saam steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Saam lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bolanos lands a solid jab.  
Saam is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Saam senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bolanos and just needs the right shot.  Saam lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES BOLANOS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Saam!
