Aimon Pintor vs Santiago Segundo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwase Promotions promoted show at Sancho Calleja Gym, San Bernardo,  taking place on 21/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aimon Pintor (8 - 7 - 1) who hails from Puente Alto, Chile and Santiago Segundo(12(2) - 5(1)) from Santiago, Chile.  Pintor weighed in at 140 pounds, while Segundo weighed in at 139 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Banuelos, and the three ringside judges are Cuba Veliz, Paco Amaro and Fidel Otero.  

Round 1: 

Segundo lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pintor steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Segundo steps inside.  Segundo pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Pintor's body.  
Segundo manages to force Pintor into a corner.  Segundo is on target with a right uppercut to Pintor's body.  
Pintor tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Segundo feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Pintor tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Segundo gets on the inside.  Pintor throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pintor switches the action to the outside.  Segundo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pintor lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Segundo lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Segundo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pintor hits home with a cross.  
Segundo drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Pintor throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Segundo is on target with a stinging left hook.  Segundo clinches his opponent.  Segundo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Segundo pushes his forearm into Pintor's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Segundo to stop fouling.  
Pintor tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Segundo is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Pintor on the ropes.  Segundo lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Segundo walks Pintor down, trapping him on the ropes.  Segundo hits home with a right uppercut.  
Segundo throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Segundo holds on to his opponent.  Segundo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Segundo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pintor behind the head. Segundo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pintor's kidney. The ref breaks Segundo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pintor's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Pintor's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Segundo advances into close range and drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Pintor throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut to Pintor's ribs.  
Pintor walks Segundo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Segundo lands a jab to Pintor's body.  
Pintor sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Segundo is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Segundo lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  As Segundo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pintor dabs at his face checking for damage.

Segundo throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Segundo ties up his opponent.  Segundo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Segundo pushes his forearm into Pintor's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Pintor tries to step out of his opponents range and hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Pintor lands a cross.  
Segundo is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Segundo lands a stinging jab.  
Pintor tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Segundo feints a cross, and then lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Segundo closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Segundo is looking to close the distance.  As Segundo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Pintor has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
