Amon Halloran vs Baldwin Meier

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 05/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amon Hands Halloran (46(38) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Baldwin Meier(32(9) - 11(8)) from Dusseldorf, Germany.  Both Halloran and Meier weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Ireland, Dominic Owen and Amon Scroggie.  

Round 1: 

Halloran is on target with a stiff jab.  Halloran throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Halloran drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Meier throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Halloran lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Meier is looking to close the distance.  Meier sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Halloran throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Meier advances into close range.  Halloran lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Halloran throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Meier lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Meier tries to keep the action at long range.  Halloran is on target with an overhand right.  
Halloran lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Meier closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Halloran is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Meier sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Meier attempts to land a jab, but Halloran slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Meier advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  Meier tries to land a right hook, but Halloran blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Halloran lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Halloran is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Meier advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Meier cuts off the ring, trapping Halloran on the ropes.  Meier sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Meier drives a right hook into Halloran's ribs.  
Halloran steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Meier attempts to land a jab, but Halloran sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE left uppercut.  MEIER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Halloran could be enough to finish Meier!  Halloran lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING MEIER TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Meier now seems to have his senses back.  
Meier gets on the inside.  Halloran lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Halloran is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Meier sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Halloran is on target with a cross.  
Meier is on target with a jab.  
Halloran attempts to land a cross, but Meier dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Halloran's body.  
Meier steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to Halloran's body.  
Halloran is looking to keep the action on the outside and EXPLODES a BRUTAL overhand right into his opponents face.  MEIER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Meier is looking to close the distance and manouvers Halloran onto the ropes.  Halloran is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Halloran lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MEIER!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Meier now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Halloran is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head, DROPPING MEIER TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Halloran!
