Dana Vinje vs Mitsuru Hatanaka

Boxing Daily Report from the Pro boxing japan promoted show at Oi Hockey Stadium, Tokyo,  taking place on 30/12/2035:

Clearly Pro boxing japan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dana Vinje (25(20) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Mitsuru Hatanaka(6 - 11 - 1) from Himeji, Japan.  Both Vinje and Hatanaka weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Yamamoto, and the three ringside judges are Dai Ishikawa, Ichiro Kaya and Isamu Nonaka.  

Round 1:

Vinje pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Vinje forces Hatanaka to retreat into the corner.  Vinje lands a left uppercut.  Vinje ties up his opponent.  Vinje leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Vinje's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vinje is on target with a right uppercut to Hatanaka's body.  Vinje holds on to his opponent.  Vinje uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hatanaka behind the head. 
Vinje is on target with a left uppercut to Hatanaka's liver.  
Hatanaka switches the action to the outside.  Vinje lands a jab.

Vinje steps inside and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Vinje lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Vinje closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hatanaka recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Vinje steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Vinje ties up his opponent.  Vinje leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Vinje's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vinje is on target with a weighty left hook.  HATANAKA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hatanaka quickly recovers. 
Vinje forces Hatanaka to back into the blue corner.  Vinje connects with a right uppercut.  
Vinje lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Vinje clinches his opponent.  Vinje is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Vinje's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vinje senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Vinje lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS HATANAKA!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Hatanaka has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Vinje lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.

Vinje sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.

Vinje sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hatanaka throws a right hook, but Vinje ties up his opponent.  Vinje leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Vinje pushes his forearm into Hatanaka's face.  The ref breaks Vinje's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vinje manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Vinje throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Vinje ties up his opponent.  Vinje leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Vinje lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Vinje ties up his opponent.  Vinje leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Vinje pushes his forearm into Hatanaka's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Vinje.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hatanaka's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Hatanaka's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Vinje lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vinje lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Vinje advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vinje throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Vinje holds on to his opponent.  Vinje is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Vinje lands a WICKED right hook.  HATANAKA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Vinje senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Hatanaka and just needs the right shot.  Vinje lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Vinje!
