Faisal Akhter vs Dom Akpan

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbeki Promotions promoted show at Umuahia Basha, Umuahia,  taking place on 31/12/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Faisal Akhter (4 - 6 - 1) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Dom Akpan(15 - 5 - 1) from Aba, Nigeria.  Akhter weighed in at 168 pounds, while Akpan weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bright Imenger, and the three ringside judges are Ikechukwu Ilori, Jay Onuegbu and Bature Adelakun.
