Vojtech Kosek vs Carl Strid

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 19/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vojtech Kosek (31(26) - 1(1)) who hails from Plzen, Czech Republic and Carl Strid(29(13) - 15(11) - 2) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Kosek and Strid weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Evans, and the three ringside judges are Paul Louden, Bruce Carra and John Stein.  

Round 1: 

Kosek is on target with a jab.  
Kosek steps away from his opponent and lands a FEARSOME overhand right.  IT LOOKS LIKE STRID WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Kosek sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Kosek lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS STRID TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Strid now seems to have got his legs back.

Strid advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kosek is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Strid attempts to land a jab, but Kosek slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Strid is looking to close the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Kosek is looking to keep his distance.  Strid lands a cross.  Strid tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Strid hits home with a cross.  
Strid gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Strid is on target with a left hook to Kosek's ribs.  
Kosek snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Strid is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Kosek steps to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Kosek steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand left to the head.  
Strid is on target with a solid cross.  
Kosek lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Kosek tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Strid is looking to close the distance.  Kosek lands a VICIOUS right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE STRID WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kosek throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  Strid recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Strid connects with a right uppercut.  
Strid connects with a firm right hook.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Strid dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kosek steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Strid blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Strid is looking to close the distance.  Kosek drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Kosek lands a sharp right hook.  
Kosek is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Kosek connects with a stinging cross.  
Strid gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kosek dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kosek's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Strid's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Strid quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kosek SLAMS a mean right uppercut into his opponents face.  STRID IS HURT!  Strid almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kosek is looking to keep his distance and SLAMS a BRUTAL overhand right into his opponents face.  STRID IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Kosek switches the action to the outside and EXPLODES a mean cross into his opponents face.  STRID IS DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Kosek!
