Brett Moncayo vs Edmundo Alaniz

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 20/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hitman Brett Moncayo (17(15) - 0) who hails from Reno, USA and Edmundo Alaniz(24 - 28(19) - 1) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Both Moncayo and Alaniz weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Betton, and the three ringside judges are Seth Frith, Peter Spang and Patrick Yeoman.  

Round 1: 

Alaniz strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Alaniz walks Moncayo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Moncayo lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
