Raimy Panyangara vs Joey Chikerema

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Mutsekwa, Bulawayo,  taking place on 07/01/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Bulawayo Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raimy Panyangara (7(4) - 4 - 1) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Joey Chikerema(12 - 5 - 2) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Panyangara weighed in at 139 pounds And 15 ounces, while Chikerema weighed in at 140 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mashawn Alimenda, and the three ringside judges are Mark Nyambuya, Jack Katsande and Billy Mpofu.  

Round 1: 

Panyangara closes the distance and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Panyangara lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Panyangara closes the distance.  Chikerema throws a left uppercut, but Panyangara ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Panyangara pushes his forearm into Chikerema's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Panyangara.  
Panyangara closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Chikerema quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Panyangara lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Chikerema recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Panyangara walks his opponent into a corner.  Panyangara lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Panyangara clinches his opponent.  Panyangara tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chikerema's kidney. The referee warns Panyangara and breaks the clinch.  
Panyangara is looking to close the distance.  Chikerema throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Panyangara throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Panyangara holds on to his opponent.  Panyangara leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Panyangara's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Panyangara lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Panyangara lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Panyangara gets on the inside and lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Panyangara closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Chikerema almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Panyangara gets on the inside.  Panyangara pivots from in front of his opponent.  Panyangara digs in a left hook to Chikerema's ribs.  Panyangara ties up his opponent.  Panyangara leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Panyangara gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Panyangara clinches his opponent.  Panyangara tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chikerema behind the head. 
Panyangara lands two straights to the body, and one to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Panyangara closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  Chikerema now seems to have got his legs back.  
Panyangara lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Panyangara advances into close range.  Panyangara knows Chikerema is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Panyangara lands a FIERCE cross.  CHIKEREMA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Panyangara lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND DROPS CHIKEREMA TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Panyangara!
