Alejandro Cal vs Leeroy Wathen

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Aragon Ballroom, Chicago,  taking place on 23/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro 50 Cal (8(2) - 0) who hails from Santa Clara, Cuba and Leeroy Wathen(9 - 4 - 2) from New Orleans, USA.  Both Cal and Wathen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Cockburn, and the three ringside judges are Cody Cockburn, Joe Walls and Ewan Lockart.  

Round 1: 

Cal is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Cal closes the distance.  Wathen throws a left uppercut, but Cal clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cal pushes his forearm into Wathen's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cal lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Cal holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cal pushes his forearm into Wathen's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cal.  
Cal lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Cal is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Wathen steps to the outside.  Cal feints a right, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Cal steps inside.  Cal quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Cal advances into close range and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Cal holds on to his opponent.  Cal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cal gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  Cal clinches his opponent.  Cal uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Wathen behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Cal steps inside.  Wathen could be stopped here, if Cal can find the right shot!  Cal lands a right uppercut, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS WATHEN TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Cal!
