Aftab Houari vs Amer Meriech

Boxing Daily Report from the Garabetian Promotions promoted show at Algiers Madyan, Algiers,  taking place on 15/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Alger Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Houari (8 - 9 - 5) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Amer Meriech(8 - 13 - 4) from Algiers, Algeria.  Both Houari and Meriech weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Megherbi, and the three ringside judges are Mohsin Idris, Obaid Elmediouni and Ahmed Khenniche.  

Round 1: 

Meriech gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Houari is on target with a left hook.

Houari attempts to land a right hook, but Meriech parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Meriech walks his opponent into the corner.  Meriech is on target with a left hook.  
Meriech steps inside and throws a left hook, but Houari holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Houari pushes his forearm into Meriech's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Houari.  
Meriech is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Houari's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Meriech advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but Houari clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Houari pushes his forearm into Meriech's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Houari.  
Meriech throws a right hook, but Houari holds on to his opponent.  Houari uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Meriech's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Houari about fouling.
