Gyn Russell vs John Kendrick

Boxing Daily Report from the All Saints promoted show at Swansea Curvis, Swansea,  taking place on 18/01/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gyn Russell (4 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Swansea, UK and John Kendrick(11 - 5(2)) from Cardiff, UK.  Russell weighed in at 107 pounds And 12 ounces, while Kendrick weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Griffith Batton, and the three ringside judges are Gethin Kerrigan, Glyn Bowen and Mark MacNevin.  

Round 1: 

Russell is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
