Jose Eva vs Rico Ferra

Boxing Daily Report from the Kabila Promotions promoted show at Brasilia Cardoza, Brasilia,  taking place on 19/01/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Distrito Federal Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Eva (11 - 11 - 1) who hails from Brasilia, Brazil and Rico Ferra(6 - 1) from Brasilia, Brazil.  Eva weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces, while Ferra weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Moises, and the three ringside judges are Reyes Raso, Gabriel Samudio and Montego Rocha.  

Round 1: 

Ferra switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Ferra closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Eva lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ferra quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Eva lands a cross.  
Ferra closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but Eva blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Ferra's body.

Eva pivots to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Ferra advances into close range and drives a right uppercut into Eva's body.
