Fausto Nicoli vs Arturo Fedele

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Apulia promoted show at Foggia Cerci, Foggia,  taking place on 31/12/2035:

Clearly AI Italy-Apulia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Fausto Nicoli (1 - 0 - 1) who hails from Novara, Italy and Arturo Fedele(1 - 2(1) - 1) from Salerno, Italy.  Nicoli weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Fedele weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luca De Silvestri, and the three ringside judges are Dante Alboni, Dante Alboni and Gianluigi Leonetti.  

Round 1: 

Nicoli steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fedele dabs at his face checking for damage.

Fedele sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Nicoli advances into close range.  Fedele pivots from in front of his opponent.  Nicoli drives a left hook into Fedele's ribs.

Fedele connects with a right uppercut.  
Nicoli stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Fedele tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fedele quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicoli lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Nicoli steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook to Fedele's body.

Fedele switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Nicoli lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Nicoli is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nicoli advances into close range and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Fedele throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Nicoli's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Fedele's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Fedele's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Nicoli has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Nicoli lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nicoli digs in a right hook to Fedele's body.  Nicoli clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nicoli pushes his forearm into Fedele's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nicoli gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Nicoli ties up his opponent.  Nicoli pushes his forearm into Fedele's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nicoli about fouling.

Nicoli is looking to close the distance and manouvers Fedele into the red corner.  Nicoli is on target with a firm right hook to Fedele's body.

Nicoli is looking to close the distance.  Fedele leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Nicoli accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Fedele.  Nicoli connects with a left uppercut.
