Joaquin Amaro vs Jose Silvestre

Boxing Daily Report from the iQ Boxing Global promoted show at Arena México, Mexico City,  taking place on 03/02/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Amaro (9(7) - 2) who hails from San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Jose Silvestre(31(1) - 9(2)) from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  Both Amaro and Silvestre weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Bautista, and the three ringside judges are Xabat Griego, Rodrigo Parras and Leonel Jacome.  

Round 1: 

Amaro voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Silvestre steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Silvestre connects with a left hook.

Amaro digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.
