Shin Adachi vs Shin Sugiyama

Boxing Daily Report from the Pro boxing japan promoted show at Yuichi Kawashima Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 26/01/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shin Adachi (5 - 10 - 4) who hails from Chofu, Japan and Shin Sugiyama(2 - 3 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Adachi weighed in at 129 pounds and 6 ounces, while Sugiyama weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jun Ogata, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Okuda, Yuji Mihara and Aki Shimomura.

Adachi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Sugiyama finds the target with a jab.

Sugiyama manages to force Adachi onto the ropes.  Adachi connects with a right hook.  As Adachi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sugiyama dabs at his face checking for damage.  Sugiyama has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
