Diego Puerto vs Cris Marmol

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Mexicali Machado, Mexicali,  taking place on 27/01/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Puerto (23(5) - 15(5)) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Cris Marmol(15 - 10(1)) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Puerto weighed in at 129 pounds And 9 ounces, while Marmol weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Valdes, and the three ringside judges are Xabat Badillo, Carlos Leano and Santiago Barabas.  

Round 1: 

Puerto gets on the inside.  Puerto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Marmol's body.
