Nicandro Cedano vs Diego Vallejos

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Velodromo Alcides Nieto Patito, Cali,  taking place on 14/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Nicandro Cedano (2(1) - 0) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Diego Vallejos(0 - 4(1)) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Cedano and Vallejos weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Orihuela, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Bazan, Carlos Arabia and Angel Manjarrez.  

Round 1: 

Cedano pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cedano cuts off the ring, trapping Vallejos in a corner.  Cedano sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into Vallejos's body.  
Cedano lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Cedano clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cedano pushes his forearm into Vallejos's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cedano about fouling.  
Cedano sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vallejos throws a right hook, but Cedano ties up his opponent.  Cedano leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cedano hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cedano lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cedano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Cedano drives a left hook into Vallejos's liver.  Cedano ties up his opponent.  Cedano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cedano contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Vallejos is on target with a left hook.  
Vallejos advances into close range.  Cedano lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Vallejos throws a right hook, but Cedano clinches his opponent.  Cedano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Vallejos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cedano lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cedano steps inside.  Cedano pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Cedano lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cedano connects with a right hook.  
Cedano walks Vallejos down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cedano pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Cedano pivots to the right of his opponent.  Vallejos throws a right hook, but Cedano ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Vallejos's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Vallejos's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Vallejos's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Cedano is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Cedano is looking to close the distance.  Cedano pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Cedano backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Vallejos is whaling away with hooks, but Cedano keeps his defence tight.

Cedano senses Vallejos is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Cedano lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, KNOCKING VALLEJOS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Vallejos now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Cedano is on target with a left uppercut to Vallejos's liver.  
Cedano drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Cedano lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Vallejos quickly recovers. 
Vallejos throws a left hook, but Cedano ties up his opponent.  Cedano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Cedano to stop holding.  
Cedano lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Cedano is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Cedano lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING VALLEJOS TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Cedano!
