Paul Rhys vs Brian MacEachern

Boxing Daily Report from the Prizefighter Promotions promoted show at Gloucester Connelly, Gloucester,  taking place on 05/02/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Southern England Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Rhys (15(2) - 3) who hails from London, UK and Brian MacEachern(13 - 12 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Rhys and MacEachern weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eddie Cour, and the three ringside judges are Richard Duffy, Zach Underwood and Michael Farquhar.  

Round 1: 

MacEachern tries to land a cross, but Rhys slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.

MacEachern steps inside and manages to force Rhys onto the ropes.  MacEachern attempts to land a left hook, but Rhys sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
MacEachern is looking to close the distance.  MacEachern pivots to the right of his opponent.  MacEachern goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Rhys time to recover.
