Dom Baker vs Ian Scollard

Boxing Daily Report from the High Stake Promtions promoted show at Bart Menia Gym, Paterson,  taking place on 05/02/2036:

Clearly High Stake Promtions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dom Baker (17 - 16(2) - 3) who hails from Atlantic City, USA and Ian Scollard(4 - 15 - 3) from Paterson, USA.  Baker weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces, while Scollard weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bonaccini, and the three ringside judges are Ian Leaper, Hayden Giunti and Lee Bowell.  

Round 1: 

Baker hits home with a cross.  
Baker lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Scollard has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Baker throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Scollard's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
