Darryl Dorward vs Colin Herring

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Centre, Sydney,  taking place on 09/02/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Dorward (12(6) - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Colin Herring(18 - 16(6) - 4) from Sydney, Australia.  Dorward weighed in at 229 pounds And 11 ounces, while Herring weighed in at 227 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richard Bean, and the three ringside judges are David Corrie, Ian Vaughn and Jasper Gillis.  

Round 1: 

Dorward closes the distance.  Herring pivots to the right of his opponent.  Herring throws a right hook, but Dorward ties up his opponent.  Dorward pushes his forearm into Herring's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dorward to stop fouling.  
Dorward drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Dorward cuts off the ring, trapping Herring in the corner.  Dorward lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dorward lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dorward lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dorward throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Dorward holds on to his opponent.  Dorward tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Herring behind the head. Dorward leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Dorward's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Herring throws a left hook, but Dorward ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Dorward pushes his forearm into Herring's face.  The referee warns Dorward and breaks the clinch.  
Herring pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dorward drives a left hook into Herring's body.  
Herring steps to the outside.  Dorward lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dorward lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Dorward lands a left hook.  
Dorward sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dorward lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dorward manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Herring attempts to land a right hook, but Dorward dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Dorward is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Dorward is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Dorward quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Herring is looking to keep his distance.  Dorward hits home with a solid cross.  
Dorward steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Dorward is looking to close the distance.  Dorward sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Herring throws a left hook, but Dorward holds on to his opponent.  Dorward leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Dorward steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Dorward ties up his opponent.  Dorward is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Dorward lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dorward advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Herring tries to step out of his opponents range.  Dorward hits home with a cross.
