Vicente Chavis vs Diego Ponte

Boxing Daily Report from the Khumalo Promotions promoted show at Manaus Ruelas, Manaus,  taking place on 18/02/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Amazonas Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Chavis (24(4) - 2(1)) who hails from Manaus, Brazil and Diego Ponte(21 - 19(1) - 4) from Manaus, Brazil.  Both Chavis and Ponte weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sancho Silva, and the three ringside judges are Vidal Marta, Cortez Pires and Xalvador Pedrosa.  

Round 1: 

Chavis lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Chavis clinches his opponent.  Chavis leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

As they grapple, Chavis pushes his forearm into Ponte's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chavis to stop fouling.
