Wen Ping vs Tung Choi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Shandong promoted show at Quon Yu Gym, Jinan,  taking place on 20/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Shandong Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wen Ping (8 - 9 - 2) who hails from Linyi, China and Tung Choi(23(16) - 2) from Jinan, China.  Ping weighed in at 130 pounds And 12 ounces, while Choi weighed in at 130 pounds.    As Ping came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Wang Hung, and the three ringside judges are Yuan Zhe, Chen Aun and Qing-Nan Chua.  

Round 1: 

Choi switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Choi gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Choi clinches his opponent.  Ping tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Choi's kidney. Choi leans on his opponent using all his weight. Choi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ping attempts to land a left hook, but Choi blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Choi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ping tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Choi is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Ping's ribs.  
Choi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Choi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ping tries to land a right uppercut, but Choi sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Choi feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.

Choi forces Ping to retreat into the red corner.  Choi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Choi closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  Choi clinches his opponent.  Choi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Ping throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ping's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Ping's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Ping's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Choi steps inside and is on target with a forceful right hook.  PING IS HURT!  Ping quickly recovers.
