Franco Bellon vs Jerrold Cecilio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Puerto Plata promoted show at Sosua Bay Grand Casino, San Felipe de Puerto Plata,  taking place on 20/02/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Puerto Plata Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Bellon (16(11) - 2(2)) who hails from San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Jerrold Cecilio(6 - 9(1) - 5) from San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.  Both Bellon and Cecilio weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Pino, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Quiles, Juan Henao and Santiago Quiles.  

Round 1: 

Bellon finds the target with a jab.  
Bellon lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Bellon lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Cecilio tries to land a cross, but Bellon slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Bellon switches the action to the outside.  Cecilio throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Bellon is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cecilio almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Bellon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bellon attempts to land a jab, but Cecilio dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bellon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Bellon stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Cecilio is on target with a cross.  
Bellon lands a solid jab.  
Bellon leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Cecilio accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Bellon.  
Cecilio pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Bellon is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bellon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cecilio attempts to land an overhand left, but Bellon sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bellon drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Bellon finds the target with a jab.  
Bellon steps away from his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Bellon is on target with a telling cross.  CECILIO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cecilio quickly recovers. 
Bellon lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cecilio almost instantly gets his legs back.

Cecilio throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Cecilio attempts to land a jab, but Bellon slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cecilio's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cecilio's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Cecilio's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Bellon lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Bellon lands a HUGE cross.  CECILIO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Bellon is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Bellon lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  The winner by KO is Bellon!
