Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 16/04/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kris the Missle Jones (45(27) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Centennial, USA and Ovidio Hernadez(27(8) - 7(6)) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Both Jones and Hernadez weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Carra, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Pollino, John Dickie and Gareth Downey.  

Round 1:

Jones switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Jones tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Jones senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Jones lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES HERNADEZ!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Hernadez has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Hernadez closes the distance.  Jones is looking to force the stoppage!  Jones lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS HERNADEZ!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Hernadez now seems to have got his legs back.  
Hernadez tries to step out of his opponents range.  Jones lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hernadez almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Jones digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

HERNADEZ IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Jones!
