Isamu Matsuoka vs Ryo Kusumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Kei Kurokawa Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 27/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isamu Matsuoka (1 - 11 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Ryo Kusumoto(10 - 8(1) - 4) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Matsuoka and Kusumoto weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daichi Hirayama, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Suzuki, Satoru Yasui and Yoshi Kawahara.  

Round 1: 

Kusumoto gets on the inside.  Kusumoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Matsuoka tries to land a left hook, but Kusumoto slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Matsuoka's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kusumoto's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Kusumoto gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kusumoto lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Kusumoto manages to force Matsuoka onto the ropes.  Kusumoto pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kusumoto attempts to land a right uppercut, but Matsuoka sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Matsuoka lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kusumoto tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right.  
Kusumoto steps inside.  Matsuoka digs in a left hook to Kusumoto's liver.  
Matsuoka tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Kusumoto retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Matsuoka is whaling away with hooks, but Kusumoto keeps his defence tight.  
Matsuoka gets on the inside.  Kusumoto digs in a left hook to Matsuoka's body.  
Kusumoto switches the action to the outside.  Kusumoto throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Matsuoka's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
