Quaashie Balala vs Naftali Koimbori

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Asinikal, Nairobi,  taking place on 27/02/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quaashie Balala (11 - 8) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Naftali Koimbori(4 - 10 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Balala and Koimbori weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Arusei, and the three ringside judges are Noah Odoyo, Noah Odoyo and Sulaiman Saitot.  

Round 1: 

Koimbori is looking to close the distance and walks Balala down, trapping him in a corner.  Koimbori pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Koimbori throws a right hook, but Balala ties up his opponent.  Koimbori is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Koimbori about fouling.
