Zack Roldan vs Gus Whitehead

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Surprise Stadium, Surprise,  taking place on 26/04/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Arizona Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zack Roldan (26(15) - 0) who hails from Chandler, USA and Gus Whitehead(5 - 3(1) - 3) from Phoenix, USA.  Roldan weighed in at 154 pounds, while Whitehead weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Stephens, and the three ringside judges are Declan Page, James Rodriguez and Neil Casiano.  

Round 1: 

Roldan steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Whitehead steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Whitehead throws a left hook, but Roldan clinches his opponent.  Roldan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Roldan to stop fouling.

Roldan tries to land a cross, but Whitehead sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Roldan tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Whitehead is looking to close the distance and manages to force Roldan onto the ropes.  Whitehead pivots to the right of his opponent.  Whitehead throws a left hook, but Roldan ties up his opponent.  Whitehead is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Whitehead about fouling.

Roldan is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head, AND DROPS WHITEHEAD TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Whitehead almost instantly gets his legs back.

Roldan lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.
