Gig Corona vs Oro Varona

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Estadio Pedregal, San Jose,  taking place on 05/04/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Central American Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TD+, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gig Corona (38(5) - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Oro Varona(16(13) - 1 - 1) from Choloma, Honduras.  Both Corona and Varona weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Lovato, and the three ringside judges are Sierra Abela, Javier Gallo and Santiago Cendejas.
